Our club is not very big, but it brings together some of the most reliable and fun pilots.

Pilot Žydrūnas Kazlauskas

Žydrūnas Kazlauskas has been flying balloons for 30 years. He has 2000 hours of total flight time. He has participated in various events in different European countries as well as in the USA, Canada, Australia, Mexico, Ecuador, Japan, Taiwan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Ukraine and others.
Most memorable flights: flights over the Alps, flights in Albuquerque, USA ; Saga, Japan; Taitung, Taiwan. For 20 years organizing ballooning events, Lithuanian championships, in 2016 organized the Women’s World Championships.

Pilot Ignas Kazlauskas

I got my hot air balloon licence in 2014, but you could say that I became an aviator at birth. I was lucky enough to be born into a family of balloonists, where my grandfather, father and mother had a license. So, as a third generation aviator, the path to becoming an aviator was very natural and easy.
During the 10 years I flew in various competitions and events around Europe, and later I also had the opportunity to fly in the United States, in Albuquerque, in the largest hot air balloon event in the world, with 700 balloons. I have also flown in Taiwan, in Saudi Arabia, where we took part in a festival and flew over the ancient city of Mada’in Saleh. Every year we go to the balloon festival in Mexico, which is also an amazing experience.
I also take part in competitions. In 2023, I came fourth overall in the 31st Lithuanian Hot Air Balloon Championships in Klaipėda. In the same year, I also participated for the first time in the World Junior Championships in Poland. I finished 10th in the individual standings, but I am happy that we won silver in the national team standings.

Pilot Saulius Jezepčikas

Have you ever dreamt as a child that when you are very, very eager, you can get off the ground and soar through the air. Trees, houses, people… That’s what ballooning is all about. You can feel like a dandelion puff or a spider’s web, gently carried by the wind in a direction unknown to anyone. Or perhaps a shadow of the wind? Add beautiful landscapes, tranquillity, a unique feeling of weightlessness and you’ll realise that hot air ballooning is a childhood dream come true.
I have been hot air ballooning in Lithuania, Poland and Morocco since 2014. Flight experience: over 250 hours.

Pilot Laurynas

I am a hot air balloon pilot with experience since 2021 as a pilot and experience since 2014 as a member of a ground team. It all started as a ground team member as a driver. The Audenis Hot Air Balloon Club and its manager Žydrūnas Kazlauskas very quickly got me involved in the club. Active participation in events and competitions, both on the ground and in the sky, attracted me more and more to this sport. In 2021 I obtained my hot air balloon licence. During the last years of my activity, I had the opportunity to visit and fly in events in other countries, such as Poland, Saudi Arabia and even Ecuador, together with the Hot Air Balloon Club Audenis.
